Do you ever feel insecure?
Of course you do...
...and you're not alone.
Everybody has at least one aspect of themselves that they are insecure about.
But if you want to overcome your insecurities, you've come to the right place.
Insecurity is the feeling of lacking self-assurance.
You can be insecure about nearly anything.
You can feel insecure about the way you look...
You can feel insecure about your ability to execute...
You can feel insecure about your skill set...
But all insecurities are rooted in a lack of confidence.
The good news is this...
Confidence is a skill that you can develop like anything else.
Here are 4 ways to stop feeling insecure, and develop your confidence...
Let's just be honest...
Most people are insecure about themselves because they don't do anything to make themselves proud.
The only way you can make yourself proud is through your actions and sticking to the things you say you're going to do.
If you feel insecure about your body, I’d be willing to bet it’s because you haven’t been disciplined with your eating habits or exercise habits.
You failed to deliver on your promise to get in shape and earn a body that you can be confident in.
If you feel insecure about your career, it’s probably because you haven’t put in the work to earn a better position.
You failed to deliver on your promise to excel in your career.
Make sure to start keeping the promises you make to yourself, and don’t wait any longer...
This is the quickest way to start building your confidence and momentum in life.
Most people never accomplish anything in their life because they quit before they are about to make a breakthrough.
We all know people like this…
They work a job for 2-3 years...
Then, when things start getting difficult…
They move on to something different and have to start all over again.
Quitting when things get difficult is the best way to sabotage your success, self-confidence, and start feeling insecure.
So quit quitting.
It’s that simple.
You can’t accomplish anything you’re proud of by quitting prematurely…
It’s impossible.
What did you do today to make yourself better?
This can be mentally, physically, emotionally, or a combination of all of them.
If you aren’t putting in the time to become a better version of yourself, it should come as no surprise to you if you feel insecure.
You can’t be happy with yourself if you’re not doing something to pursue your potential.
That’s why it is crucial that you spend time developing yourself...
For me, it’s reading 10 pages of a personal development-focused book every day.
For you, it may be listening to a podcast, practicing your skill set, or taking a course…
The list goes on and on.
But the better you become as a person…
The more confident and secure you’ll start to feel.
Most of our insecurities have to do with how others perceive us.
But the truth is this…
The things you are insecure about are probably things that other people don’t even notice…
…and even if they did notice, you shouldn’t concern yourself with the opinions of others.
Your main focus should be on yourself and pursuing your potential.
Focus on making yourself happy.
It’s a much better way to live.
Can you become completely free of your insecurities?
No.
Can you eliminate a majority of the things that you’re insecure about?
Yes.
It all comes down to making the right choices every day.
Do something to challenge yourself…
Something you can be proud of.
