Every single successful person you look up to...

Every successful company and brand you see...

Every successful movement in history...

All of them started no differently than you.

They started with a goal and vision of where it is they wanted to go and what it is they wanted to accomplish.

They still do.

...and they break these goals down into the daily actions necessary to reach them in order to hold themselves and their team accountable to executing.

This is the exact process you can utilize in your life to create success as well ... and I recommend you do.

Not just success in your professional life ... But success in every area of your life.

Building yourself and your life into what you ultimately want will require you to set and pursue massive goals.

They'll also require a relentless pursuit of your true potential through personal development and growth.

If reaching your goals is important to you, which I'd imagine it is, you have to set personal development goals.

What Are Personal Development Goals?

Personal development goals are tasks you can execute on every day to equip yourself with the mindset...

The skillset...

The experiences...

The perspective...

...and everything else you'll need to build the life you envision for yourself.

They are daily habits that will build you into the person you need to become to reach your goals.

If you can make a commitment to your personal development goals...

Execute on them every day...

...and pair it with the proper intent, effort, and skill set required to produce results...

Anything will be possible for you.

Personal Development Goal Examples

Personal development goals are daily tasks you can take action on.

They will look different for everyone.

At the same time, the intention behind them will be the same.

Your personal development goals should be designed to help you develop the specific skills and mindset you need to reach your long-term goals.

If your goal is to build a 9-figure business...

You need to become someone capable of building a 9-figure business.

If your goal is to build an amazing family...

You need to become someone capable of attracting an amazing partner and maintaining healthy and strong relationships.

If your goal is to change the culture of the world...

You need to become someone capable of leading and inspiring change in the people around you.

This will only be possible for you through personal development.

Here are some personal development goals I recommend you implement...

Read 10 Pages a Day

The best personal development goal you can set is reading 10 pages of a book every day.

No, I'm not talking about fiction books.

I'm talking about non-fiction, development-focused books.

Any book that helps develop your perspective...

Enhance your skill set...

Improve your mindset...

...and give you the lessons and experiences of others are the books you can utilize for your personal development and growth.

This is the single greatest habit I've formed for my own personal development.

I credit a lot of my success to this single habit.

...and over the course of 25+ years of maintaining it...

I've read hundreds of books that have helped me develop into who I am today.

As long as you can extract one lesson, skill or perspective...

No book will ever be a waste of your time.

Read 10 pages every single day.

Make that one of your personal development goals.

You have the time.

Telling yourself any different would be a lie.

I know it ... and so do you.

Prioritize Your Health & Fitness Every Day

Your mind and body are the two most important tools you use every day to create the life you ultimately want.

Do you really think you'll be able to reach your biggest goals in life if these tools aren't as sharp as they can possibly be?

You can't.

You must prioritize your mental and physical health every day.

Prioritize it by eating the right foods.

Prioritize it by moving your body.

Prioritize it by getting enough sleep.

Prioritize it by avoiding drugs and alcohol.

Taking care of your body and mind is one of the best personal development goals you can set every day.

Drink enough water.

Follow a nutrition plan or program.

Exercise.

Go to bed and wake up at the same time consistently.

The stronger these tools are...

The better.

Make a List of Daily Critical Tasks

Every single one of us is looking to accomplish different things in life.

Which also means every single one of us will have different critical tasks.

Your critical tasks are the daily actions required of you to reach your goals.

Only you know what those are.

Choose 5, and make it a personal development goal of yours to execute on those tasks every single day.

These tasks are not chores.

They're not checklist tasks.

They're not habits you already have.

Your critical tasks should be habits or tasks you're looking to develop that are designed to bring you closer to your goals.

This is the exact method I've used to create the life I have today.

I call it The Power List.

What will your life look like a year from now if you stay committed to executing on your 5 critical tasks as one of your personal development goals?

I promise you’ll be surprised by just how much progress you can make when you take this commitment seriously.

Build Positive Relationships and Better Communication Skills

I truly believe that everyone should work a retail job at some point in their life.

I say this because the skills you can build serving customers in a retail environment are extremely valuable.

Learning how to communicate effectively, build relationships, and make others feel special are critical skills for success.

None of us can do it alone.

...and if you're going to accomplish anything of true greatness...

You'll need the help of others.

I recommend you focus on developing this skill.

I used to force myself to have 5 conversations a day at the grocery store.

Through this intentional repetition, I was able to build this skill. You can too.

But if you truly want to help people and make an impact...

You'll need the help of others.

Develop Your Mental Toughness

If you're going to have personal development goals...

Make sure that building mental toughness is one of them.

Mental toughness is the single most important skill you need to win in life.

It serves as the foundation upon which every other skill is built.

Confidence.

Self-Esteem.

Self-Worth.

Self-Belief.

Grit.

Fortitude.

...all of these skills and more will be byproducts of your intentional efforts to build mental toughness.

If you're looking to develop the mental toughness you need to take complete control of your life for good...

My book, The Book on Mental Toughness, will show you exactly how.

This book is a comprehensive guide and tool you can utilize at any time to help you develop this skill.

You'll learn why mental toughness is important...

What it takes to build mental toughness...

...and a full breakdown of 75 HARD, the ultimate transformative mental toughness program.
