There's something that each and every one of us has an unlimited amount of.
Can you guess what it is?
It's potential.
So, why is it that some people are able to "reach their potential" while others cannot?
The problem isn't a lack of intelligence.
The problem isn't a lack of the necessary resources.
The problem isn't the absence of a network of people.
The real difference between the people who reach their potential and those who don't is simple...
It's action.
If you do not take action to reach your potential...
You will never fulfill it.
I'm going to show you what it actually means to reach your potential.
But first, there's something you must understand…
For me to tell you that you can "reach your potential" would be a lie.
Because the truth is...
Your potential is constantly evolving as you do.
If you've been focused on becoming the best version of yourself...
What your potential is today should be far greater than it was even 5 years ago.
Is it not?
Your true potential is not a destination.
It's a moving target.
This is why I don't think of success as a destination either.
You will never actually reach your potential.
...and guess what?
That's okay.
But only if you don't quit.
If you were to actually do everything in your power to pursue your potential...
Success will be a byproduct of undergoing that journey.
So, how do you "reach your potential"?
You don't.
You pursue it every day.
Here's how...
The number one thing that separates winners from losers is their ability to execute on a daily basis.
Winners execute every day regardless of how they feel and regardless of the external circumstances.
Losers allow their feelings and elements that are out of their control to influence whether they execute or not.
That's it.
"Reaching" your potential is a very simple equation.
It's inputs and outputs.
Your input is the actions you take every day.
The output is the life you build and the progress you make in fulfilling your potential.
As you continue to execute on a daily basis...
You will build confidence.
You will build grit.
You will build mental toughness.
You will build perseverance.
...and as bigger and bigger challenges and obstacles present themselves...
You'll have the skills necessary to execute regardless.
This is what it takes.
You do not have real limits.
You have perceived limits.
You’ve built them up over time and convinced yourself that they're real.
It's the chains that confine you to a specific level of achievement.
...and by placing these limits on yourself...
You will never reach your potential.
If you are ever going to reach and expand your potential...
You need to destroy your limiting thoughts and beliefs.
This is done through execution.
Once you've proven to yourself what you're capable of by doing the work...
You will begin to recognize that you are capable of far more than you could have ever imagined for yourself.
Do not give in to your limits.
Do not give in to the limits others impose on you.
Do not give in to society's limits.
Do not give in to the limits of what's believed to be "possible".
Everything is impossible until it isn't.
Use your actions to destroy your limits and fulfill your potential.
You will never reach your potential if you allow yourself to make excuses.
Never.
The world runs on results.
It's all that matters.
...and if excuses are what keep you from producing the results necessary to win...
You will not win.
It's that simple.
It doesn't matter how hard you tried.
It doesn't matter if you did "your best".
It doesn't matter how valid you think your reason for falling short is.
Reaching your potential is a no-excuses game.
Eliminate them.
When you find yourself making excuses ... Recognize they have no validity.
Ask yourself "how" you can get it done instead of "why" you can't get it done.
Your ability to reach and expand upon your potential will be extremely limited if you do not.
It is in our nature as humans to seek comfort.
...and if you take a look around at how most people choose to live their lives...
You will know this to be true.
Understand that there is no growth in comfort.
Comfort and complacency are traps that will confine you to an average existence.
Embrace new challenges.
Accept more responsibility.
Put yourself under pressure.
Train yourself to get uncomfortable and stay uncomfortable.
You will never make progress in fulfilling your own true potential otherwise.
Living your life in avoidance of risk is the same thing as accepting whatever life it is you have right now.
You cannot get where you're trying to go without risk.
It's an essential element in building and becoming.
...and if you want to reach your potential...
You cannot avoid risk.
I am not telling you to go out and take risks that make no sense for what it is you're trying to do or who it is you're working to become.
You have to take calculated risks.
Risks are opportunities for greatness.
Opportunities to pursue your potential.
...and even if you fail...
These risks will equip you with the valuable lessons needed to improve and expand upon your potential.
Do not fear them.
Start taking risks and understand they are required if you are ever going to reach your potential.
The only way you will ever reach your potential is by developing the skill of mental toughness.
Mental toughness serves as the foundation upon which every other skill you need to win in life is built.
These are skills like...

Without it, you cannot win.
Confidence is a sense of security in your ability to execute and accomplish whatever it is you set your mind to it.
Without it ... Your goals will not be...
I haven't met a single person I consider to be truly successful who hasn't overcome massive amounts of adversity and struggle.
It's no coincidence that some of the most successful people of all time have come from extremely difficult situations.
Consider that a great thing for yourself.
Because regardless of who you are...
The single best habit I've developed to create massive wins in life is reading.
Books are extremely valuable resources that you can use to make significant progress in any area of your life.
Your relationships...
