PUT OTHERS FIRST.

Stop asking what can I get...and start asking what can I give.

Basic shit right?

When you ask 99.99% of people on earth: What is the purpose of being in business?

They will answer: to make money.

And this is why most businesses fail.

Businesses exist to solve a problem.

Businesses exist to provide value.

Businesses exist to HELP PEOPLE!

The idea that a business can formulate a scheme to "sell" a customer based off of a customer not knowing any better is a strategy for business death.

If you focus on the money...you're already dead.

THE WORLD HAS CHANGED.

Customers are smarter than ever.

Their bullshit detector is finely tuned.

Social media provides EVERYONE with a voice.

Feedback is instant.

This isn't 1987. It no longer takes a company 3 years to form a reputation (good or bad) with potential customers.

People find out if you're the real deal or if you're a pretender INSTANTLY...the minute your first order is shipped...people WILL be talking.

What are your customers saying about you?

Are you HELPING solve a legit problem for people or are you trying to make a sale?

How do you make sure those conversations are favorable and accelerate your companies growth VS being negative and accelerating your companies death?

HELP PEOPLE.

SOLVE PROBLEMS.

GO THE EXTRA MILE TO DO SO.

BE THE REAL FUCKING DEAL.

It's that simple.

If you're the REAL DEAL...people will know and you won't need to prospect...people will come to you!

If you're the REAL DEAL...people will know and they will CLOSE YOU!

If people aren't closing you...your plan will not be sustainable in this value driven economy.

Focus on the help and solutions you are providing people in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE...make people say "HOLY SHIT...those guys are awesome!" and success(& money) will happen.

Putting others first isn't only the key to success...it's the key to happiness.

It's not "what can I get?"...it's "what can I give?".

If you're a "what can I get" person don't be surprised if you don't get much.

Companies/people that don't do this will be beat by companies/people that do.

End of story.

Quit selling.
