Momentum is one of the single most powerful tools at our disposal.

Momentum can help you create massive wins in every area of your life.

The problem is ... The average person doesn't know where momentum comes from.

Nor do they realize that momentum is something that they have control over.

They believe it's some magic anomaly that comes and goes as opposed to something they can create themselves.

The truth is...

We can all harness the power of momentum and use it to our advantage.

...and if you truly want to build a life of greatness...

You must learn how to manufacture momentum at will.

What is the Power of Momentum?

Momentum is the daily habit of creating forward movement.

It makes the work required feel smooth and effortless.

It allows you to stack up win after win in a way that compounds and amplifies your every effort.

...and when the conditions take a turn for the worse and you're faced with adversity...

Momentum can be a driving force to continue to make progress regardless.

With the power of momentum on your side...

You can execute at a high level with what seems like relatively little effort.

Without momentum...

Every action can feel like a massive obstacle.

How to Harness the Power of Momentum

You can’t just flip a switch and suddenly have momentum.

No ... Momentum has to be created over time.

How? Through intentional, daily effort with zero compromise.

You're gonna have to force momentum into existence through your actions.

Here's what you can do right now to start manufacturing momentum...

Set Massive Goals

Small goals create a small life.

A small life requires little to no effort.

...But building momentum and achieving a life of true greatness requires massive amounts of effort.

You have to set massive goals.

Massive goals require massive actions.

...these actions take an immense amount of daily and intentional effort.

But when you build a habit out of executing at a high level every day...

You are doing exactly what it takes to manufacture momentum.

By setting massive goals, you are laying the foundation for the actions that will be required of you to build momentum.

Momentum is not a byproduct of the goals you set.

It's a byproduct of the actions you take in the pursuit of those goals.

I suggest you take whatever goals you have right now...

Then multiply them by 10.

Your goals will be a catalyst to help you harness the power of momentum.

Build Momentum With the Production Pivot

We all have days when we don't feel like executing.

We all have days when we don't feel like showing up.

We all have days when we'd rather die than take another step forward.

These are your test days.

...and on these days, there's a voice in our head that tells us to compromise.

It's what you choose to do in these moments that will make or break your momentum.

The very second you recognize this voice trying to talk you out of doing what you know you need to do...

Use it as a trigger to take immediate action.

I call this the production pivot.

If you can train yourself to use the production pivot in these moments...

It can help you create momentum through sheer willpower and force.

All you have to do is start moving.

Send an email.

Make a call.

Execute on the task.

Do the set.

Run the lap.

Whatever it is that you do not want to do in that moment...

Do it anyway.

This is a skill you must develop to create and maintain momentum long-term.

Use The Power List

The Power List is a tool I created to manufacture the power of momentum and the habit of winning.

Win the day. That's the entire idea behind the Power List.

...Because if you can win one day...

You can win every day.

The Power List is a simple tool.

Every day, write 5 critical tasks.

These are the most important tasks you need to execute on a daily basis to bring you closer to your goals.

This isn't a to-do list.

This isn't a list of things you should already be doing.

This isn't a list of habits you already have.

Your critical tasks are actionable steps that will bring you closer to your goals.

I cannot tell you what those tasks are because everyone's goals are different.

As you go through your day and complete a task, mark it off.

If you complete all 5 of your critical tasks for the day ... You'll mark the day as a win.

If you fail to complete any one of your critical tasks for the day ... You'll mark the day as a loss.

Momentum will come when you've won enough days in a row for these tasks to become habitual.

Every win will help you build momentum.

Every loss will dismantle your momentum.

Build the habit of winning the day.

That's how you'll be able to harness the power of momentum.

How to Maintain & Build Upon Your Momentum

Momentum takes weeks, if not months to build...

...and only a single moment to completely destroy.

Treat momentum like a skill.

Like any other skill, if you do not continue to exercise it...

You will lose it.

Momentum is not something you can turn on in an instant.

To truly harness the power of momentum...

1. You have to build it.

2. You have to maintain it.

Here are some rules you must adhere to in order to keep momentum after you've built it...

Keep Your Foot On The Gas to Maintain Momentum

The minute you stop executing is the minute momentum will come to a screeching halt.

Which means if you want to maintain momentum and keep building upon it...

You cannot stop or slow down.

Breaking the habits you've worked so hard to build will put you back at square one.

Keep moving.

Keep executing.

Understand that you will still have hard days no matter how much momentum you build.

Whatever you do...

Don't quit.

You'll regret it.

There Can Be Zero Compromise

Another component of momentum is the level of intent you execute with.

When you build the habit of executing at a high level and with the proper intent...

Momentum will serve you greatly.

Do not compromise on those high standards.

Momentum will not work in your favor when you cut corners and operate at a sub-standard.

In this case ... It will actually work against you.

Consistency in the wrong actions will get you nowhere.

Build momentum by being consistent in the right actions...

With the proper intent...

With the highest standards possible...

...and all without compromising on these things. Ever.

If your goal is to utilize momentum to fast-track you toward achieving your goals...

Compromising will only make your goals more difficult to reach.

Don't do it.

Over-Celebrating Your Wins Will Crush Your Momentum

I see far too many people get a few small wins and think they've made it.

They get so caught up in celebrating and patting themselves on the back that they get complacent and lose all of their momentum because of it.

Winning is exciting.

Winning should be celebrated.

...But as soon as 24 hours have passed...

You shouldn't spend any more time on that win.

This is a rule I have for myself called the 24-hour rule.

If you want to maintain your momentum...

You have to stay focused on what's next.

Yesterday's wins are irrelevant.

What are you doing today to create your future wins?

That's how you'll continue to make progress.

This is how you'll continue to have the power of momentum work in your favor.

You Need This Skill to Manufacture the Power of Momentum

The most important skill you need to build momentum is mental toughness.

Momentum must be forced into existence through execution.

Most days, you're not gonna want to execute.

This is why mental toughness is required.

Mental toughness is owning the conversation in your mind.

It's the ability to silence the voice that tells you to cut corners, skip your tasks, quit, and sabotage your momentum.

Mental toughness puts you in control.

...and it also happens to be the single most important skill you need to develop to win in every area of life.

I recommend you start by building it.

You can learn how to build mental toughness and why it's important in my book, The Book on Mental Toughness.

In the book, you'll learn everything you need to know and get a full breakdown of the 75 HARD Program.

Use what you learn from The Book on Mental Toughness and the 75 HARD Program to start executing and building momentum.

These resources will be a jumpstart.

From there ... You can utilize the Power List to maintain your momentum and create massive wins in life.

I'll be putting in the work with you.

Every day...

Every step of the way.

We work together ... We win together.

You've got this.
