Over the years, I’ve heard so many people say something like this:
“When I become X (insert long-term goal without a timeline), I will start doing Y” (insert an important action that needs to be done right now, consistently, to obtain ‘X’).
Average people think that successful people possess these habits because they’re on top …
But what they don’t realize … is that it’s the cultivation of those habits that’s actually the reason why successful people are where they are.
Tom Brady didn’t acquire the traits to be the best in the world just by becoming an NFL Quarterback. Instead, he reached that level because he’s been consistently performing at a high level and honing his craft since he was a kid.
In order to get where you want to go … you have to act & operate as if you’re already at that level to get there.
