We've all seen the feel-good memes about "prioritizing your self-care.”
They tell you to take it easy, order some shitty food, and binge on your favorite Netflix series.
The truth is … real "self-care" has nothing to do with slowing down to "treat yourself", reserving a day to fuck off, or any of that shit...
If you actually cared about yourself … you'd show up every day to pursue your goals.
You'd keep the promises you make to yourself.
You'd train your body to be in great physical shape.
You'd feed your brain good information.
You'd hold yourself to a high standard … and never compromise on that standard...
...and you'd stop at fucking nothing to fulfill your maximum potential in life.
Here's the way I see it...
You can either get aggressive about becoming truly excellent and building a great life for yourself...
Or you can keep living a life that you feel a constant need to escape from through "self-care.”
The choice is yours.
