Earn the Right to Be Great

The most arrogant thought you could ever have is to think you are gonna be great at something and not be terrible first.

All these people that have inspired you to even want to become what it is you want to become have put in thousands and thousands of hours of effort.

...but you are gonna pick it up and be great the first time you try?

How does that make any fucking sense?

You are gonna suck.

People are gonna laugh.

People aren't gonna get it.

So what?

They aren’t even in the fucking game and are destined to suck at everything their entire lives.

Misery.

Mediocrity.

Struggle.

Pain.

Frustration.

Anger.

Gossip.

Drama.

Bitterness.

Regret.

That's all that will ever be on the menu for these people.

Fuck em.

Keep going.
