Busy Is Not A Badge Of Honor

Why the fuck people brag about how “busy” they are baffles me.

“Busy” literally means nothing to anyone except you.

When I hear someone say: “(OVER DRAMATIC SIGH) Oh I'm soooo busy” in a overstressed tone...I automatically think they are unorganized, inefficient, ineffective...and mentally soft.

Shit, if they were effective, they’d have something better to brag about.

Listen...

It's not about your hopes.

It's not about your dreams.

it's not about your wishes.

It's not about what's fair.

It's not about how things “should” be.

It's not about how hard you work.

It's not about how many emails you send.

It's not about how many calls you make.

It's not about how many doors you knock on.

It's not about how hard you try.

It's not about what you say you're going to do.

It's not about how hard it is.

It's not about how “busy” you are.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE RESULT YOU PRODUCE.

The world rewards results.

Period.

EFFECTIVE > BUSY
