Bad things happen to all of us.
It's not a matter of if...
It's a matter of when.
Most people let these situations defeat them...
Then run into a corner to curl up and cry about it.
These are the people who sit at the bar on a Tuesday afternoon...
And talk about how "life screwed them over".
Successful people see these situations differently...
They understand that when negative things happen in their life...
They have an opportunity to learn.
When you develop the right perspective...
You automatically look at things and say...
A. All right that happened.
B. I'm not going to do that again.
C. Here's what I learned.
Then when bad things happen that are out of your control...
You don't get upset about it anymore...
Instead, you search for the positive side of the situation...
You start to think about how you can respond productively.
Some things that will happen in your life are truly horrible...
But you have to come to terms with it...
Learn everything you can from the setback...
And carry on.
There are always 2 sides of the coin.
