Fifteen years ago today, I was lying face-down on a street in Springfield, Missouri, in a pool of my own blood. Just a few seconds before that, I felt the excruciating pain of getting stabbed multiple times. Bottom line: a dude tried his best to kill me. So...what would you do if that happened to you?
