What Do You Expect For Yourself?

People often ask me: “Did you ever imagine...” then they fill in with some specific detail about my life.

I answer: “No. I expected it.”

They look at me confused...like I'm being rude and egotistical, and instead should go into some long dialogue about the bewilderment, wonder, & awe that I have when reflecting on myself.

But that's the truth: I EXPECT TO WIN.

I put literally everything I have into literally everything I do to give me the best possible chance of winning, and because I know I operate like that, I EXPECT IT WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE.

And that EXPECTATION is not some bullshit affirmation...it comes from the deepest core of my soul!

And that's the difference.

You think Tom Brady “hopes” to win a Super Bowl?

Fuck no. HE EXPECTS TO WIN!

I'm not surprised by any wins I've had so far...

If anything, I'm surprised by how far behind I am from where I thought I'd be by this point in my life.

It's not hope.

It's not wishing.

It's not wondering.

It's knowing.

IT'S EXPECTATION.

I know this might not make sense to you right now…and that's ok, because it took me a long time to understand it too.

But, trust me when I tell you…if you truly want to change your reality, you need to learn how to shift your mindset from “hope”, “wonder”, “wish” and “want” to EXPECTATION.

Losers hope.

Champions EXPECT.

What do you expect for yourself?
