Despite what the internet and social media may tell you...
Burnout is rarely the result of being "overworked" or "overly stressed.”
If you feel "burned out" ... it's more than likely for one of two reasons:
1. You need to adjust your attitude and expectations about the work it actually takes to win.
The game of winning is not always going to be fun and exciting...
Every day is going to be a battle...
...and most of those days are going to feel like everything's stacked against you.
Expect it.
This shit is hard for all of us...
Not just you.
2. Your goals aren't big enough to keep you inspired over the course of time.
Being unclear on your purpose, mission, and goals will have you feeling "burned out" after a day or two.
But, when you are fully committed to a vision of the life you truly want...
You'll have no problem attacking every single day with passion and intention.
If you aren't actively working toward a clear destination...
You will always feel burned out.
So adjust your expectations...
Create a plan...
Then execute that plan.
That's how you avoid burnout.
