There's Always More Work to Do

You're not some superhero who's got it all figured out.

In the grand scheme of things...

You're not that fucking important.

You're not that great.

You're not the best.

You're just like every other one of the 7 billion people on this earth who are going to die.

Just like me. 

You're a speck of dust.

I'm a speck of dust.

We have to remember that.

No matter what we do...

No matter what successes we have...

No matter how much money we make...

No matter how many people we help...

No matter how big of an impact we make...

There is always more work for us to do.

We can always get better...

We can always do more...

We can always reinvent ourselves into more effective human beings.

But, when you're sitting on the high horse...

You're just asking for the world to kick you right the fuck off.

Your potential is always expanding...

You will never be as great as you possibly could be, because you're on a scale that is constantly moving.

You have to dedicate yourself to a process that has no real end…

A process of continual improvement.

Taking one more step in the right direction than you did yesterday…REGARDLESS of where you are in life.

Regardless of how big you are winning or losing…

Understanding that you can be better than you were yesterday…

…and then doing it.

That's when you know you've developed the mindset of a champion.
