Stop Beating Around the Bush

Be direct in your communication.

This is something all great leaders have learned to master.

Beating around the bush and walking on eggshells to avoid hurting someone's feelings isn't only ineffective...

It's also dishonest...

...and it holds the people you lead back by keeping them from hearing the hard truth they need to hear to improve.

Communicate clearly.

Communicate directly.

Not only will it save you time and energy...

But it will also eliminate a whole lot of unnecessary stress, anxiety, and drama that comes from your inability to do so.

Sure ... not everyone is going to like it.

...but they don't have to.

While delivering them the raw, unfiltered truth might piss them off now...

They will learn to love you in time because you helped them get better...

...and other people did not.
