Forward or Backward

There is no “maintaining” in the real world.

You are either getting better and getting ahead…

Or getting left behind.

This is one of society’s most misunderstood concepts.

While you think you can maintain because you are “good where you’re at”…

Other people are still working on their craft…

They are not stopping…

They are moving ahead…

The collective is moving ahead…

And they’ll pass you up…

…not necessarily because YOU are moving backward…

…but because everything else is still moving forward faster than you.

Life is not like a video game that you can pause whenever you want … take a break … then pick up where you left off…

It’s a game that never stops moving.

You gotta keep putting your best foot forward or you’ll be left wondering why you ended up in a place you never intended to be.

Forward or backward…
