Weakness in others gives zero justification for weakness in yourself.
Most people live to the standards of the people around them.
Unless you are surrounded by high-drive, highly disciplined people...
This isn't a good thing if you have ambitious goals for yourself.
Most people do what "They" do.
"They" being a whole bunch of people you know by default that aren't on the ambitious path in life.
Just because "They" are doing it doesn't mean it's good for you.
In fact, in most cases if "They" are doing it...
You should likely do the opposite.
If you constantly lower your standards or compromise your behavior because "They" are doing it...
How can you be surprised when you turn out exactly like them?
A good rule of thumb:
If "They" are doing it...
Do the opposite.
If "They" compromise...
Don't.
If "They" think it's okay...
It probably isn't.
You know where you want to be.
Behave like the person who is already there.
