If you feel underpaid, under appreciated, or “too good” for where you are right now there’s a 99.99% chance your ego has a grip on you…
…and not in a good way.
Here is the inconvenient truth:
Your worth is your worth.
Not what you think it is.
Not what you hope it is.
What it actually is.
…and if you’re truly undervalued if you have the discipline, the skills, the work ethic,
and the results to back it all up…
…then why the fuck are you still in the same spot?
You’re not dumb.
You know the answer.
It’s you.
You’re not being held back.
You’re just stuck celebrating things you’re supposed to be doing.
You’re supposed to work hard.
You’re supposed to show up.
You’re supposed to take care of your body,
your mind, your responsibilities.
You’re supposed to execute,
deliver, and produce.
That’s the baseline.
That’s not special.
That’s not what gets rewarded.
That’s what makes you eligible to play the game.
So stop expecting a round of applause
for doing what grownups are supposed to do.
If you want to be valued, create real value.
Produce so much that they can’t ignore you.
Become so consistent, so dangerous, so effective so undeniable that the world has no choice but to adjust to your standard.
If reading this stings a little?
Good.
Let that be the sign that your expectations are higher than your output.
Adjust accordingly.
Raise your standard.
Raise your results.
Raise your reality.
…and you wont have any problems getting paid.
Execute or stop bitching.
We’ve all heard enough of it.
