Are You Unlucky?

Have you ever thought about how your “disadvantages” could prove to be one of your major strengths?

Have you tried to assess your life with that point of view?

Let me explain what I mean…

I have been a “fat guy” for most of my life…

And I have had phases in my life when I went from fat to fit to fat again…

Sometimes, I used to ask myself why I am the unlucky one to get the “fat gene?”

Why couldn’t I be one of those guys who ate all the fries they wanted…

And not gain a single pound?

I was almost on the verge of giving up…

And accepting the fact that “I am just fat!”

But then I rewired my thought process.

I realized that I wasn’t “unlucky”...

I was given the opportunity to undergo the process of my transformation for two very important reasons…

1. To understand the importance of becoming fit and to realize that I never wanted to go back to my old self.

2. To undergo the journey myself so that I can show and lead other people how to do the same.

It was the perfect vessel through which I could learn the pain and the struggles…

And overcome them.

I could show other people that it can be done.

How else was I supposed to teach it to other people if I myself cannot get it done?

This concept applies to all the areas of life.

If you feel like you are unlucky…

And that you have been dealt a bad hand…

Always remember…

It’s an opportunity…

It’s a test…

Where you can overcome the adversities…

And become the version of yourself that you want to be…

And at the same time, proudly manifest the belief to other people…

Showing them that whatever it is they are struggling with…

That however hard their situation may seem right now…

They can achieve what they want if they put in the work.

So, the next time you feel “unlucky” or “unfortunate”...

Ask yourself…

Is it really that bad?

Or is it a new opportunity for you to win?
