A Lack of Options is the Ultimate Motivator

I've been approached hundreds of times by people who tell me they’re “thinking about starting a business."

But I've never seen a single one of these people actually build a successful business.

It's not because they don't have the skills or the ability...

As an entrepreneur, these are things that you learn along the journey.

The real reason these people fail is because they lack the commitment and belief in their heart and soul.

"Thinking about it" insinuates that they are also considering not doing it because they have other options.

These other options are why they never go all in...

…when they never go all in they are competing against people who are…

...and that’s why they stay right where they're at right now.

The difference between people who go on to do great shit and those who don't is simple…

They either give themselves a choice ... or they don't.

When I first got started in business, I didn't have a loan...

I didn't have investors…

I didn't have an angel investor...

I didn't have a college degree...

I didn't have a plan B...

I didn't have any of that shit.

So I did everything I could to ensure my success.

But at the same time … I didn't give myself any other choice.

Because I literally didn’t have one.

Even if you have other options you should convince yourself you don’t.

Having a lack of options is the ultimate motivator.

It will force you to get creative and ensure that you don't let a single opportunity pass you by.

That's what it takes.

People who lose give themselves the option to fail when it comes to their goals.

People who win don’t.
