My 5 year old daughter adores these books. She loves the stories and the characters. I bought the Ottis and Charlie plush toys and she had to earn them by reading the books. Needless to say she had earned both toys in 3 days!! Now she wants to open a fruit stand of her own!! There was also a hand written note in the packaging, unheard of the days!
Read all 7 books with my 6 year old little girl before she went to bed each night. She loves the books and discussing what lessons were learned from Otis and Charley. We have read them multiple times!
My kid was a bum. All she did was watch Blippi and eat apple sauce. After she started reading Otis and Charlies she got off the couch, enrolled into Everest College and started an apple sauce company. She also bought me a new car which was pretty rad. But seriously, these books are awesome. My daughter is 4 and she enjoys them a lot. And now she knows what alopecia is which wasn't on my bingo card. Love you, Andy!
