Otis the Bulldog's Very Big Excuses

I read this with my 5 year old granddaughter. She literally gasped when Otis was not able to go to the party!

Later that night, I asked her if she was telling me the truth or making excuses about going to bed. She decided it really was time to turn off the lights and go to bed!

I believe after only 1 reading of this book, my granddaughter understood the lesson taught very well!

The hardworking tales of Otis & Charley are the best children books available. I get as much enjoyment out of these as my 4 year old son does and its excellent because I continue to learn from these books as well. I'm 30 years old and am having to learn some of these lessons nowadays, so its amazing that I get the opportunity to teach my son these lessons EARLY in his life. Thank you!

My non-profit will be including these books in our Liberty Library that we will be getting to home school co-ops, private schools, charter schools, and hopefully public schools/libraries. A good foundation in these topics is essential for the survival of our country.

My 5 year old loves this book. When he is making excuses or stalling I say in a joking voice “are you being an Otis?!” And my son just laughs so hard and then continues on to follow through with what he was asked. We love the other books as well. Great lessons.
