You Need Both

The phrase “Work smarter, not harder” is bullshit.

Most people who say this are trying to hack their way to success and take some sort of shortcut.

Let me break it to you…

There is no shortcut.

In the beginning, when you don’t have shit going on for you…

You have to work as hard as you can…

As much as you can…

As long as you can.

And when you gain some leverage…

You can start working “smarter.”

Even then…

You have to keep working as hard as you can…

Because if you don’t…

You’ll be beaten by someone who does.

Remember…

If you want to win…

You have to work smarter AND harder.

For a long time.

Accept it and start moving…

Or keep trying to look for the shortcut and lose.
