Working Smart Is Only Half the Battle

Every time I say or post anything about "doing the work"...

I get a handful of geniuses who chime in and say "It's about working smart not hard."

To those people I say this...

Have fun warming the bench for your entire life because I guarantee you use this statement as an excuse to get out of doing the work required.

When I say "do the fucking work"...

I say it with the assumption that most people are intelligent enough to have thought through a plan first.

It's not about working hard or smart.

It's about working hard AND smart.

But at the end of the day ... What do people actually struggle with?

Do they struggle with forming a plan?

...or do they struggle with doing the work and executing their plan?

99 times out of 100...

It's their execution.

That's why I talk so much about doing the work.

It really doesn't matter how efficient or bulletproof your strategy is.

If you don't take action...

It's completely irrelevant.

Work smart.

It's important.

...but don't forget to work hard too.

Winning requires both.
