Who You Surround Yourself With Matters

Andy breaking down a huddle

It’s important to be very cautious and selective about who you choose to spend your time with.

Your habits…

Your thoughts...

Your attitude...

Your energy...

Your progression...

...and everything in between…

Are heavily influenced by the people who are closest to you.

We're all familiar with the saying, "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

This is very true.

...and it’s something you should treat with the utmost seriousness if you truly want the shit you say you want.

Most people aren't going to understand your sacrifices, your passion, or your actions...

The uncomfortable truth is you need to replace them with people who will as much as you possibly can.

It can be hard AF to do because sometimes these people are family.

…but if you truly desire a higher level existence it’s going to be difficult enough without a bunch of people in your ear talking you out of it.

In fact, this is why I used the word “replace” instead of just telling you to cut them out. Surrounding yourself with people who push you to be great is one of the best things you can do for your progression … and your sanity.

It’s not optional.

The longer you keep relationships around that are counterproductive to your goals...

The longer you'll stay far away from where you are trying to be.

I know first hand how powerful this is…

…and I am extremely grateful for every single one of you who drive me and help me get better every single day.

Thank you.
