It's popular these days to talk about “self-love.”

It takes no effort, and you get acceptance from everyone.

But, what those people don't understand is this:

Asking for sympathy isn’t self-love.

Accepting your body even though you are 100 pounds overweight isn’t self-love.

Saying "I am just going to love myself for who I am" when you have $2 in your bank account isn’t self-love.

Let me tell you what self-love is...

Self-love is working to make yourself better.

Self-love is putting yourself in difficult conditions which will make you grow.

Self-love is all the work you will put in to be the best in every area of your life.

If you really love yourself, don’t you want to be the best at everything you do?

Think about that.
