Everybody loves to talk about talent.
They look at all the people winning in life and assume they were given gifts and skills that they don't have.
...and guess what...
Talent IS a factor.
I'd be lying if I told you it wasn't.
But talent isn't what separates winners from losers.
Execution does.
Discipline does.
Skill development does.
Talent may make it easier for some people to become exceptionally skilled in some areas...
But talent alone will never be enough.
Not for you.
Not for me.
Not for anyone.
Understand these two things clearly:
Nobody who you see winning at massive scales is doing so because of talent alone.
If you lean on talent as your sole strategy for success ... You will not win.
The truth is...
There are thousands of people living the life you want with half of your natural ability.
But because they show up...
Execute to a high standard...
Focus on developing their skill set...
...and are willing to do whatever the fuck it takes...
They win.
Not the people “born with it" who coast through their days and execute to a low standard.
Talent is a gift.
Discipline is a choice.
Execution is the separator.
