Stop Playing the One-Up Game

January 06, 2026 1 min read

Legends don't concern themselves with being good enough to beat their competition.

They focus on playing their best game possible.

Every single time.

When your goal is to come out slightly ahead of the people you're in competition with...

You place a limit on your output by becoming "good enough" to edge them out.

The bare minimum.

That's not winning.

That's playing the one-up game.

Which is a game you will eventually lose when you come in contact with someone who isn't placing a limit on their output.

Instead of focusing on finishing slightly ahead of you...

They're waging a war against themselves.

One that's relentless and uncompromising.

...and you will get fucking dominated.

True legends obsess over every aspect of the game and their performance.

If they can...

They will run up the score 100 to fucking 0.

Because it's not about being better than their competition.

It's about being the absolute best they can possibly become and continually pushing that limit.

Want to solidify yourself as the undisputed champion?

This is how.

It's by constantly improving your own game...

Not by working to beat someone else's.

I've got a long way to go.

I recommend you join me.
