Step Up and Start Leading

Having the title of "Leader" and being an actual leader are two completely different things.

Real leadership is organic.

It's not about being in charge and delegating responsibility.

It's not about being above your team.

It's not about bringing down the hammer when someone makes a mistake.

Most people think otherwise which should give a good idea as to why most people are shitty leaders.

Being a leader is no different than being the tip of a spear...

It's the bloodiest, dirtiest, and most damaged.

Which means if you truly want to become a great leader...

You have to lead by example through taking action and holding yourself and your team to the highest standard possible.

Real leadership requires constant self-auditing.

Real leadership requires pushing your ego to the side and admitting when you fuck up.

Real leadership requires putting the mission and the team before yourself.

Real leadership requires making decisions that not everybody is going to agree or be happy with.

Real leadership requires holding yourself and your team accountable.

Real leadership requires a commitment to doing these things consistently and without compromise.

The world is starving for leaders.

...and all of the biggest problems we see in the world today can be attributed to a shortage of them.

Step up and start leading.
