Forward is Better Than Staying Still

I want you to think about how many times you've said something like this...

“Oh I don’t have time to work out for an hour, I will just skip it all together.”

“I don't have time to work on X (insert a skill that will help you grow), I will just do it next week.”

“Oh I won’t have time to plan out my meals for the rest of the week ... I will just start next Monday.”

Did you count?

You don’t even need to tell me…

I know the answer...

Hundreds of times...

For so many things.

It used to happen with me too…

Until I started to take control.

I know how it feels...

You think it’s just a small thing that doesn’t matter today, and you will do it tomorrow.

Except it never happens.

And so many “tomorrows” and “Mondays” and “next weeks” will fly by right under your nose…

While you just stay at the same spot you're at right now.

If you want to get out of this poisonous cycle...

You need to understand two things...

1. Stop bullshitting yourself and do what needs to be done TODAY.

2. Advancing even 1/10th toward the desired goal is better than doing nothing at all.

So go do the workout you promised yourself you will do…

Even if it's 45 mins instead of an hour.

Start writing the book you always wished you would have written…

Even if it’s just a page.

Start saving for your dream car, or dream house, or whatever it is that you want...

Even if it’s just 10 dollars.

Take a step towards your goals.

No matter how tiny it is.

Forward is better than staying still.

Every step counts.

Every move counts.

If you do that…

6 months down the line…

A year down the line…

Or 5 years down the line…

You will thank yourself.
