“Realistic” is the Enemy of Greatness

Andy Frisella walking with Ed Mylett

Nobody who sets “realistic” goals ever accomplishes anything great.

“Realistic” is the enemy of greatness.

Average people infect you with the mentality of setting “realistic” and “attainable” goals…

So that you don’t outgrow them…

So that you don’t make them feel like shit when you go out and win big.

Setting “realistic” goals is another way of saying that you are going to stay in your small box.

Play small and be small.

Small goals always lead to small actions…

Small actions produce small results.

You’ll never grow…

You’ll never expand your abilities…

You’ll never be better than what you are today…

…and it’ll be too late.

If you’re reading this…

I’m pretty sure you want to do great things, have a big life and leave a positive impact on the world with your actions…

And if you really want that…

You gotta forget the idea of “realistic” and “attainable” goals…

Delete those two words from your vocabulary.

Remember this…

Whatever goals you have right now…

Scratch them…

And make them 10-20 times bigger.

Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.
