Purpose Comes First

We've all heard the saying, "Success is about the journey.”

…and it's true.

But it can only be true if you achieve some level of personal success through your journey.

Too many people waste their lives because they interpret this phrase incorrectly.

They think it doesn't matter where their journey takes them … and they are free to float through life to magically stumble across their “meaning” and “purpose” down the road.

False.

You need to establish purpose behind your journey and put intent behind every action you take along your journey.

If you can't do that...

You will never reach your goal...

...and if you never reach your goal...

The lessons, skills, and experiences you get from the journey will never be put to good use.

Purpose comes first.
