Play the Hand You're Dealt

Life isn't fair.

It will never be "easy.”

You will always have struggles.

You can't trade the hand you were dealt.

Things won't always go the way you want them to.

But at the end of the day...

Your life is pretty fucking amazing.

If you're reading this...

It's extremely unlikely that you're living day to day in search of your next meal...

Clean water...

...and a place to rest your head at night.

Not everyone can say the same.

As humans, we tend to sell ourselves lies about how our life and circumstances are somehow harder or different from everybody else's.

The reality is...

You and I have it better than most.

...and when you think about it...

A lot of the shit that you dwell on and bitch about are byproducts of the actions you took in the past.

That literally means you have the opportunity to make different choices in the future to produce a better outcome.

So ask yourself...

Would you rather take advantage of that opportunity and make a change?

Or...

Keep playing the same "poor me" card and forfeit your ability to create a better life for yourself?

Either way...

It matters very little what hand you were dealt.

It matters a whole lot how you choose to play your hand.
