Losing is supposed to hurt.
Losing is supposed to make you upset.
Losing is supposed to make you mad.
But most of all...
Losing is supposed to make you take a look at yourself...
Your plan...
And your execution...
So you can adjust and come back even better.
The value of losing is tremendously underrated...
Especially these days.
I'd LOVE to find the person who invented the "participation trophy" and deem them the biggest moron of all time.
Is this really what it's come down to?
A trophy for showing up?!
I won't stand for it...
And neither should you.
This is the REAL WORLD.
People win...
And people lose.
It's a fact of life...
No matter how much you whine, cry, or bitch.
So instead of protecting everyone from losing...
Why don't we accept reality...
And teach the next generation how to lose the RIGHT WAY.
If you want the trophy (the raise, the better career, the better life)...
WIN.
Be damn good, work harder than anyone, and execute better than anyone.
When you remove the losing...
You remove the learning.
When you remove the learning...
You remove the progress.
When you remove the progress...
You remove the skills necessary to win.
Accept and appreciate your ass-beatings...
And use them to your advantage.
Losing will teach you far more about winning than winning ever will.
Love it or hate it...
It's the truth.
