Most people don’t know this about me…
I started my entrepreneurial journey selling light bulbs and baseball cards to get a new bike.
Now our companies and our teams help transform the lives of millions of people across the globe.
I still feel like a stupid 19 year old from Missouri with big dreams who had no idea what he was doing.
I have had a LOT of help along the way.
…and still do.
I can’t thank them enough.
But I’m not talking about them today.
Today I’m talking about the people who made/make my journey harder.
I’m talking about the people who purposely fucked with me.
I’m talking about the people who laughed at me.
I’m talking about the people who told me that my dreams were unrealistic.
I’m talking about the people who told me to get a real job.
I’m talking about the people who thought I was fucking crazy.
I’m talking about the people who stood in the way.
…still to this day.
I want to thank those people.
For teaching me grit…
For teaching me resilience…
For teaching me not to give up when others don’t believe in you…
For teaching me self-belief…
For teaching me patience…
For teaching me strength…
For teaching me that nothing can affect me unless I let it.
Please keep betting against me.
Adopt this mindset…
…and no one can stop you.
