It All Starts With You…

I’m seeing a lot of blame being cast all over the internet today...

...and this is how I look at it...

Everything wrong in this country starts with the weakness of the individual...

Which leads to the weakness of the family...

Which leads to the weakness of the community...

Which leads to the weakness of the country.

Yes...

There is a lot to the current situation.

However...

If you are complaining about what's going on in the world...

But you’re unwilling to start hammering away at becoming the best version of yourself...

You aren't doing your fucking part.

In fact ... you are no different than the people you make fun of.

If you want to change shit...

Start with yourself...

...and show the people around you what it means to be a leader.

The only way any of this gets fixed is if you become the change and represent what you think America should be.

Too many of us are willing to rant...

Complain...

Point the finger...

...and scream into a phone.

Not enough of us are willing to do the work it takes to be a better example of what it means to be a citizen of this amazing country.

I am not perfect...

I have plenty of improvements to make moving forward.

We all do.

But we can be the change our country, and the world, needs...

Starting with ourselves.
