I'm one of the biggest losers you'll ever meet.
I've fucked up every single thing.
I've made every wrong decision.
I've been embarrassed.
I've been ashamed.
I've been frustrated.
I've been angry.
I've lost … a lot.
The best thing that's happened to me is that I started losing really early…
...and what did that do?
It allowed me to pay attention to the shit that didn't work, and put those lessons in my toolbox.
This is important, because in today's day & age … all we see are 19 year old clowns renting Lamborghinis…
Standing in other people's mansions...
...and trying to act like they’re ultra successful.
Not a single one is by the way.
But it makes you think those people are going to be the winners...
Which makes you unwilling to take the step forward, because you're probably going to fall on your face and look stupid to your family...
Your friends...
…and everybody you went to school with...
Which makes you not want to move forward.
But let me ask you something...
How can you expect to win if you don't have any skills?
You can't.
How do you expect to have skills if you’ve never tried anything?
You can't.
How do you learn skills?
You learn skills by losing…
Not by winning.
I am so thankful for the amount of L's I've taken, because every single one teaches me something new...
No matter how big or small the loss is.
When I lose…
I appreciate the loss…
...and that's the big difference between people who win big consistently, and people who never do shit.
They value the loss more than the win.
They understand that whatever loss costs them today is going to be minuscule compared to what they could lose 5 to 10 years down the road.
So understand this...
You really only need two things to win in life:
1. You have to be willing to be embarrassed, look like a clown, and learn from your mistakes.
2. You have to keep going.
Embrace your losses...
Be grateful for every single one...
They are teaching you the skills you need to win long-term.
