Effort Today Doesn't Produce Results Tomorrow

Farmer on field

When a farmer plants corn in his field…

He doesn't come out the next day…

Look at the ground, and say…

"Damnit! That didn't work. I QUIT!"

If he did...

What would you think?

"That’s pretty stupid!" right?

Everyone knows to harvest a crop it takes time.

So why is this concept so hard to understand when it comes to any kind of success in life?

Efforts today don't produce results tomorrow.

Instant gratification is an unrealistic, success-sabotaging idea that people are addicted to.

It feels good today...

But ultimately ruins your life.

The defining factor between those who "make it" and those who don't…

Is the ability to PUT OFF instant gratification for delayed gratification…

And continue to put in the work ... even when results aren't reinforcing your actions at the moment.

So next time you get frustrated...

Be patient...

And remember...

Your effort today DOES produce results…

It's just not going to be tomorrow.

If farmers thought like most of you...

...we’d all starve.
