At some point, you're going to have to decide…
Whether you're building your life around what other people think is possible…
Or what you believe you're capable of achieving.
…because people will always have an opinion about what you should do.
They'll tell you to play it safe.
They'll question your ambitions.
They'll point out every reason your plan might fail.
And they'll act like they're doing you a favor by convincing you to think smaller.
Fuck that.
Their inability to see the vision doesn't mean the vision is impossible.
Think about the world you live in today.
There was a time when people couldn't imagine carrying a computer in their pocket, flying across oceans in a matter of hours, or communicating instantly with someone on the other side of the planet.
Somebody had to believe in those possibilities before they became reality.
Somebody had to be willing to look ridiculous … challenge what everyone accepted as truth … and keep going when the world told them they were wasting their time.
That's how progress happens.
Not by listening to people who are committed to keeping everything the way it is.
And not by waiting until everybody agrees with you.
Your job isn't to convince every person you meet that your goals are achievable.
Your job is to get to work and prove what you're capable of doing.
Let other people doubt.
Let them laugh.
You don't need their permission to pursue something extraordinary.
The world is full of people who were told they couldn't do something and went out and did it anyway.
Their actions became the evidence that inspired someone else to dream bigger.
You get one shot at writing your story.
Don't spend it trying to make your ambitions acceptable to people who would never have the courage to pursue them.
Take the risk.
Do the work.
Keep going when the odds look ugly.
Make your life an example of what's possible when someone refuses to let other people's limitations become their own.
Stop asking for permission to dream big.
Go build something worth remembering.
