Be Willing to Stand Alone

When you start working toward the massive vision of yourself and your life that exists in your heart...

Most of the people in your life are not going to like it or understand it.

Crazy.

Unrealistic.

Greedy.

Egotistical.

Selfish.

These are just a handful of the things I was called ... and you will be too.

As you continue to widen the gap between yourself and these people from your old life...

You're going to find yourself in a place I call No Man's Land.

It will be you...

Your goals...

...and nothing and nobody else.

When you're in this place...

You're going to feel lonely.

You're going to question your actions.

You're going to question your mission.

You're going to question yourself.

Consider it a sign that you're on the right path.

You are in a period of transitioning away from the people and the habits that no longer serve you and moving toward the people and the habits that will.

Be willing to stand alone.

Understand that this is a temporary period of time that you must go through to get wherever it is you're trying to go.

On the other side of No Man's Land lies the relationships that will contribute to your life 1000 times that of your previous ones.

...but only if you don't quit.

Quit buying into the idea that it's "lonely at the top."

It's not.

It's lonely in the middle.
