Understand that you can be deeply grateful for your life and still want more.
It doesn't have to be one or the other.
You can appreciate the results your actions have created up to this point...
Admire the progress you've made...
...and still look at yourself in the mirror and say:
"We're not finished here."
Gratitude isn't about being complacent and accepting everything that your life is now.
Gratitude is acknowledgement.
Hunger and daily execution are what honor it.
The people who judge ambition for being "greedy" are the same people who haven't built anything worth shit.
They confuse comfort with contentment.
They confuse peace with stagnation.
Winners don't.
They're grateful for everything they have and respect it by pushing to produce more.
Not because they're empty.
Not because they're greedy.
Not because they're materialistic.
It's because they understand that the wins they produce in their own lives aren't just about them.
It's about everyone they can serve and inspire through their wins.
So be grateful...
It's important.
But don't allow that to keep you from pursuing more.
More wins.
More skill.
More impact.
More contribution.
Gratitude without ambition is what keeps most people small their entire lives.
Don't let that be you too.
