Most people are so interested in getting their own point across, that they don't even listen to what the other person is saying in a conversation.

They may pretend like they care, but they don't.

They are just anxiously waiting for their turn to talk.

What these people don't realize is that they are shooting themselves in the foot when they do this…

This is especially true when you’re talking to your customers.

People love to talk about how they feel...

What their problems are...

What they dream about...

What they've experienced...

...and when you actually listen to what others have to say and start giving a fuck about them and their needs instead of you and your needs...

They'll start to give a fuck about you.

This same concept can be applied in any conversation, whether it's related to business or not.

You should be listening twice as much as you speak.

When you train yourself to shut up and pay attention, it will improve the quality of your relationships...

…and the size of your bank account.

Quit focusing on you.

Start listening to them.
