As someone who checks many of the boxes when it comes to society's standards for "success"...
I can promise you...
None of these benchmarks are what I actually consider to be "success.”
Not the cars...
Not the companies...
Not the house...
Not the lifestyle...
Not the fame...
None of it.
Want to know what I believe the real definition of success is?
It's the commitment to the constant pursuit of your potential.
Which means even if you're the fucking man by everybody else's standards...
You can never feel truly successful unless you are continually working to become the best version of yourself every single day.
Understand that your potential is continually evolving.
It's a moving target.
...and if you're a high-achiever...
Enough will never be enough for you.
You must find happiness & fulfillment in the work and the process because success is not a destination like so many people believe it is.
It's a choice.
Are you choosing success by showing up every day to pursue your potential?
...or are you not?
The outcome of your life will be a direct reflection of your choice.
