A College Degree Guarantees Nothing

Real intelligence doesn't come from a textbook.

It comes from solving problems and executing in the real world...

Experience and intentional repetition.

Yet, our youth has been sold the lie that as long as they go to college...

Get good grades...

Pass the tests...

...and get the paper...

They are guaranteed a 6-figure salary and a safe and secure future.

That is false.

Especially now.

That perceived guarantee of success is a big reason why so many people get their asses handed to them in the real world.

Having a college degree is not what makes you unique or valuable.

Being able to talk in theory does not make you unique or valuable.

Take it from someone who runs multiple businesses.

I have never hired or promoted anyone based on whether they have a degree or not….

99% of the time...

I don't even know if they went to school or not.

I dont care.

It's completely irrelevant.

Am I saying I'm against college?

Not at all.

There are a handful of admirable professions that do require a degree.

Most do not.

It matters less and less as technology evolves. 

Which means if you truly want to make yourself indispensable...

You have to focus on the elements in your control that will actually make you valuable.

Your attitude.

Your effort.

Your skill set.

Your commitment to learning and personal growth.

A college degree means nothing.

The results you produce mean everything.
